Savannah Wedding Photographers, Savannah, GA wedding at Lafayette Square · Julie + Hans

The city of Savannah is probably one of the most romantic cities ever. The beauty of the trees draped in the Spanish moss, the cobblestone streets, and historic architecture just makes Savannah one of my favorite cities to visit and is quickly becoming one of my favorite cities to shoot weddings in.  Savannah just makes a beautiful backdrop to any wedding.

Julie and Hans met in the fall and quickly fell in love.  Their families knew that they wanted to get married, but no one knew when they would wed.   In June, Julie and Hans decided to plan an intimate wedding that was to take place in a couple of weeks.  They invited their parents and closest comrades to a ceremony in one of Savannah’s stunning squares.

Julie and Hans – cheers to being a military couple.  You guys bring back lots of memories for Antonio and I.  It was a delight to meet both of you.  Here is a sneak-a-peek for you.

There are 22 beautiful squares in Savannah.  Each one has unique items and buildings surrounding them.  Julie and Hans choose to tie the knot at Lafayette Square, adjacent to the marvelous Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.

We ended the evening with a few shots at the historic Forsyth park.
